A catching star for Baltimore in the 1890s, Robinson coached under the Giants' John McGraw before becoming Brooklyn's manager in 1914. "Uncle Robbie" won pennants in 1916 and 1920 but never won a World Series. He had a career 1,399-1,398 record. |

The player drawings are all posed portraits, except for Joe Murphy and Ernie Kreuger, who are shown catching. The cards were sold in strips and have blank backs.
