Chuck Klein
(b. October 7, 1904 - d. March 28, 1958)
Playing five and one-half seasons in Philadelphia's cozy Baker Bowl, Klein led the NL in homers four times and never hit below .337. He was the 1932 NL MVP and won the Triple Crown in 1933 (.368 average, 28 homers, 120 RBI). Klein set an all-time record for outfield assists with 44 in 1930. Traded to the Cubs in 1934, he remained productive bud didn't approach his earlier performances. He had a lifetime .320 batting average, 300 homers, and 1,202 RBI.
