| Comments: I have a wantlist posted on a private chatroom where I'm a member along with many other card collector's. I don't recall anyone ever responding to it after eight years of posting on the board. Then, in February 2015 a hobby friend contacted me via PM. He was sending this card. I couldn't believe it! I asked, "How much do I owe you?". Nothing - just a beer at the next National. I owe this man several. Thank you Chris, very nice of you to hook me up. Really happy to own this one before Breadon is inducted. It's bound to happen one of these days. |

Members of the St. Louis Cardinals are featured in this 30-card set. The cards were printed on heavy paper and feature sepia-toned photos. The player's name appears along the bottom white border below the photo. The cards measure 6-1/4" X 9-1/2" and are not numbered. Most cards feature the logo of Metropolitan Studio in a bottom corner, while others (like this Breadon) have "Sid Whiting St. Louis MO," and a few more have no sponsor's credit. |
