Comments: In January, 2010 I purchased two complete 1988 T&M Umpire sets on eBay for $17 inc S&H from one seller and five sets from another for $18. I picked the best Harvey singles out and set them aside for PSA submission. I received the following PSA 8.5 as a gift from a hobby friend Scott Grebenstein on June 11, 2010 - thank you Scott!

UPDATE:  Purchased another set for $4.99 on 09/30/2015 via eBay – received the box and the Harvey was NM at best.

UPDATE:  On November 4th, 2015 I received an email from PSA requesting credit card info because the information on file showed my account was expired.  After two months of waiting, my order was ready.  Within a few hours my grades were available and I checked the results.  I submitted five different Harvey cards and here are the results:

UPDATE: I won a complete set of 1988 T&M Umpires on eBay for $2.09+$3.00 S&H in Jan/2016.  Received it and the Harvey is clean. It should get a MINT+ grade. We'll see.

UPDATE: I was taking my lunch hour off and searching eBay for hockey cards.  I typed “1963 Doug Harvey PSA” to see if anyone was selling a portait card I needed for my Puckheads set.  Low and behold, a PSA 9 Doug Harvey baseball umpire card popped up on the screen.  With all of my submissions I never got a MINT card back from PSA but I have one now.  I hit the BIN button for $59.95 and the ½ grade bump was mine.
