Comments: In January, 2005 I purchased a 1987 Donruss Rookies PSA 9 and upgraded to a PSA 10 with another eBay win in June, 2009 from seller wisco-goods. Here's the card:

UPDATE: Once I pick a portrait for a player it's rare for me to change my mind and swap out the card for something else. However, in early 2021, I came across an example of the 1987 Canon Photocards Maddux and decided it was a better shot of the great pitcher. In February, eBay presented an opportunity to win a PSA 10 example of the card and I did just that - I won the auction. I don't know much about the issue or the scarcity of them. There's over a dozen GEM examples graded thus far. But, I think it's a great portrait and he looks happier than he does on his '87 Donruss Rookies card.
