Comments: I purchased a PSA 8 '64 Topps Giants Oliva on eBay back in July, 2009 for inclusion on my "Fan Favorites" webpage. Then, in 2021, I was surprised with Oliva’s induction into the Hall of Fame. I always considered him a borderline candidate but I had the card ready. I’d like to upgrade this to a MINT example someday.

UPDATE: In December, 2021 a PSA 9 example popped up on eBay with a reasonable Buy It Now price. I hit the purchase button and the card was mine. The quest for a reasonably priced PSA 10 starts NOW!!!

UPDATE: I don't actively seek out upgrades when I have a MINT 9 in hand but sometimes you have to bite. In June of 2023, an auction for a PSA 10 ended with no bids at $349. I reached out to the seller and asked them for a "best price" off eBay to have the card delivered. We came to an agreement and I had myself a GEM upgrade.
