Comments: In May 2011, this card was graded EX-MT 6 by PSA:

The card was submitted using the free PSA vouchers new members receive for signing up with PSA.  I had purchased this raw on eBay a few months earlier. In 2020, Ted Simmons was finally elected to the Hall of Fame. Immediately, thereafter I purchased another raw example of the card on eBay for $5 in hopes of an upgrade - we'll see if it's got the potential of getting a NM or better grade (Nope, it didn't happen). I would love to upgrade this PSA 6.

UPDATE: I've purchased 3-4 more raw examples on eBay over the past several years and all of them graded out EX-MT at best.

UPDATE: Late in the evening on March 4th, 2024 I was reviewing my saved eBay searches while getting ready for bed and I was surprised with this MINT beauty:

After 14 years of searching and a few raw submissions with unsuccessful results, I finally had found my chance at an upgrade.  I entered a snipe and a week later the card was mine at the opening bid.  SCORE!
