Comments: I purchased a single of this card at one of the Nationals.  I thought it was the perfect portrait.  The card was graded MINT 9 by PSA in May, 2007.  I’ve been looking for a GEM copy since but my eBay searches have come up empty.

UPDATE: On February 19th, 2014 I visited one of my favorite sites on the web - the Beckett Marketplace and Burbank Sportscards. I placed an order for not one, but 29 copies of the card. I also purchased several other players, mainly football cards. When they arrived I thumbed through the cards and every single one of them were slightly off center left to right. I picked out the best copies and will eventually submit them with hopes of scoring a GEM MT. The centering will make it a stretch...

UPDATE: Submitted the best three from the group above and all came back graded MINT. Will keep trying...

UPDATE: Found a nice centered copy on eBay in late September, 2015 for $1.49 including S&H. Received it and was very happy. This one has shot at a 10!

UPDATE: On November 5th, 2015 I received an email from PSA requesting credit card info because the information on file showed my account was expired.  After two months of waiting, my order was ready.  Within a few hours my grades were available and I checked the results.  I submitted two Thome cards and I got lucky.  One of them graded mint, and the second got the elusive GEM MT rating.  I finally had my 10!
