| Comments: I purchased
my first Perez-Steele Willie Wells postcard - a SGC 96 example -
on eBay in November, 2004 from seller Phillip Garry (vguerrerobb).
In November, 2011 a bunch of PSA 10 Perez-Steele cards popped up
on the bay from seller 4 Sharp Corners as Buy It Nows. I won a GEM
MT Wells along with Pud Galvin, Rube Foster, Bullet Joe Rogan, William
Hulbert, and Joe Williams. In 2014, I submitted this card to PSA
and decided to swap it with the Perez-Steele card. I preferred the
ghostly image of Wells - symbolic of the Negro Leagues. |
