| Comments: I purchased
a tribute card, a 2001 Perez Steele SGC 88, of Smith from Phil Garry
(vguerrerobb) on eBay in November, 2004. It was a placeholder until
I was able to get my hands on a Puerto Rican Toleteros issue, one
of the only items available and contemporary to the negro leaguers
career. In October, 2007 Paul Misuck (tonhammertoe) sold me this
SGC 50 example via the Net54 site. |
